“ I came in on a Saturday night reservation for a party of one while traveling. I had researched extensively, and it seemed this place had some of the better quality and safer pasta options in DC proper. I’m also the first to roll eyes at celebrity restaurants. But! This place was outstanding. The vibe was great, drinks and service both delicious. The Caesar was very good. However the king crab GF pasta dish was tremendous. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the portion was perfect—not tiny and not huge. Just SO enjoyable. Homemade gelato for dessert was also. I also appreciated that the server was so kind and helpful, even though I was among the smaller checks in her section, of course, with there being only one person. I liked it so much, I looked to see if I could grab lunch here again before departing, but they didn’t open until 3 on Sundays!! So so good. ”
“ They really make you feel special on your birthday. They have a special menu that says happy birthday at the very top, they bring you a little ice cream with a cute sign and a candle and to top it all off, they gave us 2 glasses of champagne at the end of our dinner . Dinner was great at well, we had the Prime Dry-Aged Bistecca Fiorentina and it was great but little big for 2 people, we had plenty left. The only negative were the mushrooms, they were too dry for my taste. Our server was great, she took the time to explain time to us and was always attentive to things we might of meed. ”

“ RPM Italian deserves five stars across the board — from the atmosphere and ambiance to the outstanding customer service, attentive wait staff, and exceptional food. Our large party was treated to more than just a meal; we were given a true dining experience. Our waitress was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also shared interesting insights into Italian customs, which added a special touch to our evening. The food was excellent — flavorful, well-balanced in texture, and offered a great variety from appetizers to main courses. One suggestion for improvement: it would be helpful if the host staff inquired about food allergies upon seating. I only discovered the availability of a gluten-free menu after the appetizers had already been served and had to request it myself. Despite that minor hiccup, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return the next time we’re in the DC area. Highly recommend! ”
